I graduated from the University of Worcester in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) in Biology. After completing my PGCE in Secondary Sciences in 2014 at UCL/Institute of Eduction London, I began teaching at large successful comprehensive schools around central London and later on, Hertfordshire. I taught full time until 2023, progressing to the Pastoral role of Head of Year. During my time teaching I taught 11 - 18 year olds of all abilities all three of the sciences (including triple science topics) and Biology to A level. I am a highly experienced secondary sciences teacher with lots of experience with SEN (particularly ASD and Dyslexia) and EAL students. If your child is struggling in science, I will be able to help them.
I began tutoring right back in 2013 after completing my degree and have always enjoyed the one-to-one sessions with students and how useful they can be in aiding their learning. In January 2023 I decided to take this on as my full time career. Teaching science has always been an absolute passion of mine, I love my job.
Now based in North Devon, my interests outside of teaching include surfing and trail running with my Boarder Collie; Rusky.
